Mood: waitin for the next blow!

Air Temperature: 12C

Distance Covered:

Arrived there expecting there to be a mad North Easterly as the drive over from Aber indicated there was wind around but to our surprise, there was harldy a breath. Was blowing just over 5knots.
Thought I could do with sum practie with sum light wind manouveres so rigged the biggest sail I had, my 6.5 but I had left it behind in the boat shed so instead had to rig the 5.5 as bongo shotgunned the other 6.5.
Justal and quite a few others were there playing with there kites whilst we rigged our sails up. Just as we were about to launch, the wind picked up probably to just over 10 knots which got everyone excited.
We launched and then it was a case of just practising those manouveres. 3 of the lads came onto the water with there kites and found it hard work to stay upwind. Me and Bongo continued on whilst the wind was dying all the time.
Eventually the wind totally dropped to almost a standstill so we then called it a day and packed up. Giving it a 2 star as conditions were crap.
